What is the Catenian Association ?

Simply put , the Catenian Association is an international brotherhood of practising Catholic Gentlemen who meet socially, at least once a month, at local branches called ‘Circles’.

The Association takes it's name from the Latin "Catena" meaning chain or link as such these circles are linked together to form part of a worldwide chain of brotherhood. Members are referred to as ‘brothers’, reflecting the mutual support and sharing of common values that is found within the Association.

Founded in 1908,in Manchester, there are now over three hundred and thirty Circles and over twelve thousand members, spanning the UK, South Africa,Australia, Ireland, Hong Kong, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Malta.
